"The Canary Effect" is the first of three films in the Holocaust and Genocide Studies Project's winter 2014 film series that examines the issue of genocide in Native North American History. Directed by Robin Davey, this 2006 documentary investigates the effects that United States and its policies have on the indigenous peoples of America.
