PSU Summer Commencement

What:
Nearly 500 students will participate in Portland State University's summer 2005 commencement ceremony; representing the more than 1,500 undergraduate and graduate students receiving degrees summer term. Portland State University President Daniel O. Bernstine will deliver the commencement address. Approximately 2,000 spectators are expected to attend the event.

When:
Saturday, August 13, 11 a.m. to noon

Where:
Portland State University South Park Blocks between Smith Memorial Student Union and the Simon Benson House, rain or shine.

Cost:
The event is free and open to the public; seating is provided and available first-come, first-serve. Spectators are also welcome to bring folding chairs or blankets. Parking will be available in Parking Structure 1 (located between SW Broadway, Hall, Sixth, and Harrison) and Parking Structure III (1631 SW 12th Avenue) for a fee of $3.
