Celebrate the 70th Anniversary of Dorothea Langes visit to Oregon with a visit to the PSU Littman Gallerys new exhibit of her documentary photographs entitled "Dorothea Lange in Oregon 1939 Farm Security Administration Photos" starting on October 1, 2009.
WHAT: New exhibit of Dorothea Langes documentary photographs of the Great Depression in Oregon taken in 1939. Dorothea Lange visited Oregon to produce over 500 photos of the people and rural environment of the Willamette Valley, Malheur County, Columbia and Klamath Basins for FDRs newly created Farm Security Adminstration.
