For over a decade, the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences haspresented the John Eliot Allen Award to faculty for outstanding work inteaching, based on the nominations and experiences of numerousstudents. Each year in preparation for the awards, Scott Burns has ledthe effort to meet with students and hear about the impact ofprofessors as educators, researchers, and mentors. In this lively andinteractive session, Scott will share what he has learned from hundredsof students about excellent teaching in CLAS
