Current Projects
Currently, CES is engaged in a variety of projects that focus primarily on solid waste, waste prevention, recycling, and organizational sustainability practices. Projects vary greatly in terms of their scope, length, and dollar amount. CES is currently working on grants as small as $3900 for a three week project all the way up to a multiyear $200,000 grant. CES is funded entirely through grants with outside organizations - usually local or regional governments. Typically, projects are established through an "Intergovernmental Agreement" (IGA) or contract between PSU and the funding agency. CES is also able to work on smaller projects through a more informal "purchasing agreement". If you would like to inquire about CES services for a project you are undertaking, please contact Dan Blue (503) 725-8448 or Shanna Eller (503) 725-8207.
