Knowledge + Practice = Lean Strength
Designed and taught by experts with over 30 years of Lean experience across all industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, and government. This program will give you the information and skills necessary to begin your Lean journey. If you already have a baseline knowledge of Lean, it will ensure that you have the expertise to implement Lean for sustainability. The Lean Practitioner program is presented in collaboration with NW Center for Performance Excellence.
There are six required courses in the Lean Practitioner certificate program:
- Fundamentals of Lean
- Learning to Improve: The Kaizen Way
- Flow Design and Value Stream Management
- Standardized Work
- The Visual Workplace
- Lean Daily Management

At the conclusion of this program, you will know how to lead a Lean improvement project in your own organization, you'll understand the importance of culture in Lean success, and have gained a career credential recognized across all industries.
|If you are interested in learning more about Lean Six Sigma, try our 2.5 day introductory Lean Six Sigma course. This overview course is designed to provide the novice with a basic understanding of Lean Six Sigma. It will prepare them to participate effectively with others engaged in Lean Six Sigma discussions and/or guide the beginning Lean Six Sigma practitioner toward the follow up training best suited to their needs.|

Courses can be taken individually or can be applied to a certificate within a three-year limit. Our courses and certificates are continually updated to bring you the most current and progressive information, tools and perspectives. Courses completed outside of the three-year limit will need to be retaken to qualify for certificate completion.
