BO105 Designing Organizations for Results
Based on David Hanna's premise that "every organization is perfectly designed to get the results that it gets," this course covers organization assessment and redesign to increase alignment to organization strategy, maximize desired results, and minimize undesired results. The course takes the OD/HR practitioner beyond the typical new vision, mission, and org charts that define many redesign efforts. Case studies and several organization models are utilized with emphasis on Jay Gilbraith's STAR model
Instructor: David Moyle
Dave Moyle, owner of Desired Results Consulting, is a consultant specializing in organization design and development, human resources development, and training. He has an MS in organizational behavior and over 30 years of industry experience. Mr. Moyle has extensive experience designing and implementing solutions to improve individual, team, and organization performance. He recently retired from Intel, where he worked with clients around the world from manufacturing to technology development to enterprise services. His consulting clients include Standard Insurance Company and Honeywell Aerospace. Mr. Moyle also coaches high school racquetball.
