Drop/Withdrawal
Full refunds are not available after purchase*. Requests for no-cost transfers to the same course scheduled for another date/time, if available, may be considered until midnight, ten days before the first day of class. Withdrawal or drop must be requested via email to learn@pdx.edu or through the student portal. Please login to the student portal and select the drop button. If the drop button does not appear on your enrollment history, please email learn@pdx.edu.
Please allow 3-4 weeks for processing.
79% refund: Midnight, ten days before the first day of class (PSU charges a 21% administrative fee for CEPE course refunds)
0% refund: 12:01 a.m., nine days before the first day of class or later.
Note: If you pay the regular rate for a class and switch to a later section with an early bird discount, the early bird discount will not apply.
*Refunds are not available after purchase for courses BP101 and BP102.
Missed Class Time
As a noncredit academic center, our in-person courses do not have exams or letter grades. Passing a course is solely based on full attendance and participation. Students should make sure that their name is called during attendance. Students who miss more than 20% of any individual course must make up the missed time during a future section of the course to pass. Please be in touch with your program manager or contact cepe@pdx.edu if you need to miss class time or have any questions.
Cancellations
If insufficient enrollment or any other significant reason necessitates cancelling a course, we will contact those students who have registered, and course fees will be refunded.
Length of Program
Courses can be taken individually or can be applied to a certificate. CEPE aspires to allow students up to 3 years to complete a certificate program, however, CEPE's program offerings can fluctuate due to market/community demand. Therefore, we reserve the right to cancel or revise a program at any time. This means that CEPE does not guarantee the completion of any certificate, so if certificate completion is a student's goal, we encourage completion as quickly as possible when courses are available.
