 Gudrun Granholm Business Management Portland State University Center for Executive and Professional Education CEPE School of Business Administration

Gudrun Granholm is the founder of Box One, Inc. an organization devoted to financial communication for non-financial managers. She received her MBA from Stanford Business School and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®).  Gudrun has worked with a variety of universities to design, develop and deliver financial curriculum for many nationally-recognized universities including Portland State University, University of Oregon, OHSU, University of California-San Diego, UC Santa Cruz, Southern Methodist University, and San Diego State University.
 
For the past 30 years, Gudrun has been a financial teacher and trainer working with managers and executives across a broad range of industries, including non-profit organizations. Her training has centered on how decisions and actions impact the financials, understanding and using financial information, and connecting strategy with the financials.  Gudrun brings to each session the practical, real-world experience of a seasoned CFO, blended with a great desire to help managers understand “what’s behind the numbers”.

Dave Garten Business Management Portland State University Center for Executive and Professional Education CEPE School of Business Administration 

Dave Garten is currently Professor of Business in the Portland State University and Oregon Executive MBA programs. He teaches graduate courses in Business Strategy, Strategic Alliances and Acquisitions, and Negotiation. He also is Director of PSU’s MBA Capstone Consulting program. Dave has extensive experience in strategy development, management, marketing, product development, strategic alliances and acquisitions, negotiation, raising capital and finance.
 
Dave is a Director and Finance Committee lead at The Organically Grown Company, Chairman and Director at SeQuential-Pacific Biodiesel and is a member of the Portland metropolitan region’s Community Investment Initiative Leadership Council. He has an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at MIT, and an M.Eng.from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Tonia Twigger is principal of Tonia McConnell & Associates, a cooperative consulting group specializing in team development, training, and leading change. She holds an MS in instructional technology and is a certified Myers Briggs Type Indicator facilitator. She has 20-plus years of instructional and program design experience in public and private sectors. With Paul Spindel, Ms. Twigger teaches “Creating the Life You Want” workshops. She works as a coach and mentor with people who are trying to change the course of their lives. Her mission is “behold, ask, learn, create, share, connect.”

 Albrecht Enders Business Management Portland State University Center for Executive and Professional Education CEPE School of Business Administration

Albrecht Enders is a principal of endersgroup and is an adjunct professor at Portland State University. He has 23 years' experience in innovation leadership including work at Siemens and A-dec which resulted in the creation of market-defining product families. At Siemens Medical Solutions, Albrecht led innovation resulting in platform reinvention that allowed the medical division to regain its #1 market position in less than two years. At A-dec, Inc. as Vice President of Product Development, Albrecht implemented a development infrastructure that bridged the culture of a founder/entrepreneur to the future. His work at A-dec resulted in a new product line that has become the premier product line in the dental industry. Today Albrecht teaches and consults with a number of organizations who seek the tools and momentum to innovate and grow their market share. He has a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Fachhochschule Darmstadt, Germany.

 Paul Spindel Business Management Portland State University Center for Executive and Professional Education CEPE School of Business Administration Paul Spindel is principal at Paul Spindel LLC, focusing on management and supervisory development. He holds an MA in organizational communications and is a certified facilitator of the Myers Briggs assessment and the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Instrument. Mr. Spindel has over 18 years of human resources experience with Marriott and Nike. With Tonia Twigger, he teaches "Creating the Life You Want" workshops helping folks figure out what to do with their lives. He conducts workshops aimed at creating an environmentally sustainable, socially just, and spiritually fulfilling human presence on this planet. His mission is to "touch hearts, challenge minds, and incite laughter."
