|Austin Davidsen is a Sales Manager for SRL, a full-grain leather tannery, in Shanghai. He works with an international team to design, market, and present world-class leathers to decision makers across the footwear industry. He helps manage supplier relationships with brands to make sure materials are delivered on time, and to specification. Austin stumbled into the footwear industry after a few years teaching elementary students in the US and South Korea. He holds a master's degree in International Management from PSU, and B.S. in Education from the University of Maryland.|
|Paul Herring, having worked on both the retail and wholesale sides of business for nearly 30 years, has a deep understanding of how the primary functions of a business work together to develop and maintain a successful model. Always focused on the fundamentals, Paul has held positions and managed businesses in multiple channels and industries, and for companies such as May Department Stores, Macy’s West, Mario’s, Columbia Sportswear, and Fender Musical Instruments. Currently Paul serves as a partner with the consulting firm Sterrins Group here in Portland, where he services clients who are in need of strategic guidance with respect to growing their businesses. Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Linfield College.|
|Mitch Menendez is the Senior Director, Global Apparel Leader for Men’s Athletic Training at Nike. His team works to strategize, line plan, design, and commercialize/bring to market a global apparel line that connects to their consumer/athlete. His role is to lead his team and functional partners across the product creation process that delivers consumer right product that is both profitable and productive. Mitch’s experience at Nike has spanned Sales, Retail Merchandising, Operations, and Product Creation. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing from the University of Florida.|
|Ian Yolles is Recyclebank’s Chief Sustainability Officer and previously was its Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to joining Recyclebank, Ian was a co-founder of Nau, an innovative social venture apparel company. As Vice President of Marketing and Brand Communications, he oversaw the full spectrum of marketing activities that defined the Nau brand and associated customer experience. Previously, he worked as a senior marketing executive at two of the most successful sports companies in the world, Nike and Patagonia. Ian currently serves on the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Sustainable Consumption, the Board of NatureBridge, and the Advisory Board for the Robert Bateman Center at Royal Roads University and the Advisory Board for Sustainable Brands.
Ian earned a BA from Antioch College and received a post graduate Research Fellowship from the Thomas J. Watson Foundation. He is also a graduate of the Program for Executive Development at the Sauder School of Business, University of British Columbia
