Led by Professor Faculty Brad Zenger & Kerry Sharp, PSU SBA

The class "Investing in Sustainable Economy: Global Perspectives, Middle East Focus" will be split between Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and Doha, Qatar. These two cities are a short plane ride away from each other and will allow students the opportunity to experience a different culture. The topic is linked to specific attributes of Abu Dhabi, particularly Masdar City, which will be the world's first carbon neutral city. This study course explores the meaning, dynamics, and possibility of the sustainable economy. More specifically, the course examines how investment, especially venture capital investment could be a catalyst for the transition to the sustainable economy.
