The low accelerating voltage of this TEM reduces the potential damage to soft materials, such as biomaterial and polymer. Images are recorded through a CCD camera. A heating specimen holder enables the in-situ observation of specimen up to 1000°C.

This microscope is not only suitable for biological materials characterization, but is also an ideal tool for teaching and training.
