Social Services Competency Based Training (SSCBT) Certificate of Completion - Faculty

Below is a partial list of certified SSCBT trainers who are currently active in providing SSCBT training.

Wendy Hoffman, MS, has over 30 years of experience as a counselor and trainer.  She is currently the Family Services Coordinator and manages the overall implementation of SSCBT training and follow-up at Kidco Head Start in Lebanon, Oregon.

Darcee Kilsdonk, MSW, has over 15 years of experience working in early childhood settings, providing training, and coordinating specialized training projects.  She is a program manager and manages the overall implementation of SSCBT training and follow-up at Umatilla-Morrow Head Start in Hermiston, Oregon.

Jeannie Krichbaum, MA, has over 20 years of experience working with youth and families with young children, and supervising social service staff.  She is a Family Services Coordinator at Pocatello Head Start in Pocatello, Idaho.

Karen Mooney, BA, has over 10 years of experience working in Head Start as a social service provider, and program manager. She manages the overall implementation of SSCBT training and follow-up for Mid-Columbia Children’s Council Head Start in Hood River, Oregon. 

Laura Rollins-Martin, MSW, has over 15 experience as a social worker in various early childhood and community settings, and as a consultant/trainer. She has worked extensively with migrant populations and is fluent in Spanish and English.

Charles Smith, MSW, has over 25 years of training experience in the areas of services to families and motivational interviewing. He has held direct service and management positions. He co-authored the 5th edition of the SSCBT training modules. He serves as the SSCBT coordinator and development consultant at the Early Childhood Training Center - Continuing Education/School of Education at Portland State University.

Paula Smith, BA, has over 15 years of experience working with families with young children, and supervising social service staff.  She is a Family Services Coordinator and manages the overall implementation of SSCBT training and follow-up at NeighborImpact Head Start in Redmond, Oregon.

Vicky Taylor, BA, has worked for over 20 years in the area of early childhood education and administration.  She has facilitated SSCBT programs for three years.  She is a program manager and manages the overall implementation of SSCBT training and follow-up at Klamath Family Head Start in Klamath Falls OR.
