The Men’s Health Project is partnering with the Urban League of Portland and other community members and organizations to present a health fair to reach males and females of all ages in an effort to raise awareness of health disparities and inequities. The fair will include:
- The Urban League/Walgreen’s Wellness Tour Bus: screening services for adults (18+)
- Glucose
- Cholesterol
- Bone Density
- Blood Pressure
- Body Mass Index
- Waist Circumference
- Lions Mobile Health Screening Unit
- Visual Acuity
- Glaucoma
- Blood Pressure
- Hearing
- Diabetes (3 hour fasting)
- Healthy food samples
- Health career information
- Health and fitness group activities
- Resources and involvement opportunities to improve the health of our community, and prevent underage and irresponsible drinking
- Tour of the University Park fitness facility and fitness demonstrations
- Booths with health information and community resources
