These license and training programs help educators and existing administrators respond proactively to the diversity within our communities.

ESL
Our endorsement program prepares teachers to work more effectively with their linguistically and culturally diverse students.

General Education
These programs provide a thorough introduction to education, as well as in-depth specialty options for educators, administrators, and human services professionals.

Human Services
Continuing Education works closely with national and local professional human services organizations to ensure our programs are current, relevant, and certified.

Library
Our library media programs prepare specialists for professional positions in K-12 library media centers, and provide professional development for public librarians.

Math and Science
These programs help educators teach math and science in more dynamic and meaningful ways.

Special Education (SPED)
Our special education programs prepare educators to teach in one of the highest-need fields of education. We focus on educating every type and level of learner in the classroom.

Training/Workplace Education
We offer a wide range of educational opportunities for training and development professionals. All coursework is based on the Amercian Society for Training and Development's (ASTD) Models of Excellence.

Centers
The Continuing Education Department hosts several centers committed to capacity-building in schools and organizations that serve children, families, and parents.
