Added Elementary - Faculty
Christine Chaillé, PhD, is a faculty member at Portland State University. She has been involved in promoting quality early childhood education through her teaching and research and as past president of the Oregon Association for the Education of Young Children. Dr. Chaillé co-authored The Young Child as Scientist: A Constructivist Approach to Early Childhood Science Education.
Donna Shrier, MA, is a senior instructor at Portland State University. She is also a part-time elementary teacher in Hillsboro School District and has been a classroom teacher since 1976 in all grades K-9 as well as a reading specialist. In Colorado, she was a finalist for Educator of the Year and was a part of the Northwest Accreditation Team for reading assessment in Pullman, Washington.
