Annual Early Head Start and Infant/Toddler Conference - Conference Costs

Conference Costs

Pre-Conference Day: Monday, July 29 $130
Full Conference: Tuesday, July 30 and Wednesday, July 31 $350
Full Conference for Current Members of WSHS Training Consortium: $300

The conference cost includes all sessions, breakfast, snacks, and lunches.

Optional Credit1 credit $55

Requirements for 1 undergraduate credit:

  • Attendance at full conference sessions (July 30 and 31, 2013).
  • Participation in conference discussions, skills practice, and exercises focused on the course content areas. 
  • Critical reflection paper synthesizing information learned, application of skills, and impact on your personal practice over time.
  • For consistency and to allow the instructor ease in reading and grading, the requirements for the reflection paper are as follows:
    • 2 typed pages, 1.5 or double spaced, 12 point font, Times New Roman
  • Please include your name, telephone, email address, and mailing address on a cover sheet.
  • The paper is due TUESDAY, AUGUST 27, 2013 via email to Charles Smith at smithch@pdx.edu

Requirements for 1 graduate credit:

  • Attendance at full conference sessions (July 30 and 31, 2013).
  • Participation in conference discussions, skills practice, and exercises focused on the course content areas.
  • Critical reflection paper synthesizing information learned, application of skills, and impact on your personal practice over time.
  • Research paper involving further exploration of concepts and theories underlying one of the topics covered during the conference, and its relevance to your practice setting (three sources).
  • For consistency and to allow the instructor ease in reading and grading, the requirements for the reflection paper are as follows:
    • 2 typed pages, 1.5 or double spaced, 12 point font, Times New Roman
  • Please include your name, telephone, email address, and mailing address on a cover sheet.
