Undergraduate Advising

Current or prospective engineering or computer science undergraduate students should seek advising through the Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science (MCECS) advisors.

Let us help you graduate on time by working with you on prerequisites, electives, and course scheduling.

Please be aware that it is necessary to apply to both Portland State University and then (once the required prerequisites are met) to your desired MCECS major. Engineering students who have not yet been formally admitted to their major (the upper division coursework) should contact Jodi Stiegemeyer in Student Services at (503) 725-4631 or at advisor@cecs.pdx.edu for an appointment. Engineering students who have already been formally admitted to a major should contact their department for advising. For more information on applying to MCECS majors, please visit MCECS Admissions.

Computer science and biomedical informatics students should contact Barbara Sabath in the Department of Computer Science at (503) 725- 4220 or at uc@cs.pdx.edu for an appointment.
