MCECS engineering and computer science students and faculty work in modern research and teaching laboratories. These include the only seismic shake table in the Pacific Northwest, a new state-of-the-art integrated circuits design and test laboratory, and the Intel Microcomputer Engineering Laboratory. The Northwest Center for Engineering, Science and Technology added more than 30 laboratories and classrooms.

Flexible Schedules Available for Busy Students
Many of our classes may be taken in the evening or during the summer, making it easier for working students or those with industry internships to complete their degrees within four years. Our Compressed Work Week Program offers course times compatible with work schedules commonly used in the semiconductor industry.
We Make Transferring to PSU Easy and Seamless
PSU works closely with the regional community colleges to make transferring to the Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science seamless. This includes a co-admission program allowing students to apply to PSU at the same time they apply to a community college. Students intending to enter Chemeketa Community College, Clackamas Community College, Clark College, Clatsop Community College, Mt. Hood Community College are eligible for co-admission to PSU.
