Undergraduate Admission

To receive an undergraduate degree from the Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science (Maseeh College), students must first be admitted to both Portland State University and, at the appropriate time, to the specific degree program within a Maseeh College department.

Step 1: Admission to the University
Please follow the Undergraduate Admission Instructions on the PSU website. You will find specific instructions for Freshman, Transfer, and International students.

If applying for fall term, keep in mind the priority admission deadline is December 1 of the year before you wish to be admitted.

Step 2: Admission to a Major Department
Undergraduate students must also apply to the engineering department in which they plan to major. Generally, students apply to their major department as they are completing their last quarter of lower division requirements for admission to that department.

Graduate Admission

Graduate students must apply to the university and to the appropriate engineering or computer science department. Please follow the admission process below.

Step 1: Admission to the University

If you are an international student who is not a citizen or permanent resident of the U.S., please follow the instructions for International Applicants.

Step 2: Admission to a Major Department
