Event: Ernest Bloch International Jubilee- 2009 and Beyond
Throughout the 2009-10 school year, the Department of Music at Portland State University will celebrate the music of one of Oregons most important and original composers, Ernest Bloch. As part of the yearlong international celebration of the life and work of Ernest Bloch, the Department of Music is planning to introduce our students and the community to his music in the classroom and the concert hall.
