Description
This seminar is geared specifically for undergrads with questions about preparing for graduate school (be it applications, GRE scores, writing samples, writing your CV, etc.). Three faculty members from the Philosophy Department will share tips for academic success in the field, as well as field questions from the audience. It’s never too early to plan your future! Panelists: Tom Seppalainen is the chair of the Philosophy department at PSU.  Dr. Seppalainen received his PhD from the University of Pittsburgh. He specializes in the History and Philosophy of Science with a specific interest in research methodologies of visual perception Alexander Sager received his PhD from the University of Calgary. His research interests are mainly in social and political philosophy with a sideward glance toward business ethics. Brad Berman received his PhD from the University of Pennsylvania. His research interests gravitate towards topics in ancient Greek metaphysics, particularly as they concern Plato and Aristotle.
