The Fariborz Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science at Portland State University is an ABET accredited institution that evolved in parallel with the growth of the high tech, and sustainability industries in Oregon.
More than 3,000 students are currently enrolled in programs that lead to Bachelors, Masters, and PhD degrees in:
- Civil Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Computer Science
- Electrical Engineering
- Environmental Engineering
- Mechanical and Materials Engineering
Advanced degrees are also offered in Engineering and Technology Management and Systems Engineering - an online degree program. Many of our programs offer post-baccalaureate options for students with prior degrees in other fields.
Our graduates are in demand because Portland State University's location and its close ties to industry offer them the opportunity to develop their professional skills through MECOP/CECOP and other internship programs while they complete their degree. Many also participate in undergraduate research, community-based learning projects, prestigious competitions, and opportunities to develop their own ideas from proposal to prototype, through the college's Innovation Programs.
