Enhanced Case Management Initiative
The Enhanced Case Management Initiative is an initial effort to support Self-Sufficiency Program (SSP) staff to do the type of relational engagement and case management required to achieve better outcomes for children and families.
Due in large part to the recession and financial crisis Oregon has been facing over the past few years, it has been difficult to support the kind of case management and engagement with families deemed necessary. Historically, this type of support was intended only for case managers; however, for SSP to truly implement such as transformation initiative, it is important to include all those that come in contact with a family including those at the district, branch and central office.
The goal is to provide the staff, structural and institutional support necessary to integrate core elements into SSP practices, processes and policies. This will lead to the sustainable and systemic change necessary to better meet the needs of families in Oregon. For an overview of all Enhanced Case Managment trainings, check out the videos below:
