Posting Internship Opportunities

If you have used our previous version of CareerConnect (prior to July 7, 2014), your account has been created and your username is your email address. You will need to reset your password to log in. Enter your username/email here and click on "Forgot Your Password?".

If you have already used our NEW CareerConnect 2.0 (since July 7, 2014), and have created/updated your account, you may go directly to the Employer Login.

If you are new to CareerConnect, please visit the Employer Login Page for registration instructions. Please take a few moments to read the directions and they will lead you through the registration process.

Posting Your PAID Internship (see below for unpaid internships)

  1. Create an employer account (see above) and post your internship directly to the database
  2. Upon review and approval of your internship opportunity, we will post the position in our online database.
  3. Candidates will contact you directly just as they would for a permanent position.
  4. Select and hire the intern that best suits your needs.
  5. Review Best Practices for Hosting an Intern.

Posting Your UNPAID* Internship 

*FOR-PROFIT EMPLOYERS posting UNPAID internships: Please see our Legal and Ethical Guidelines

To Create a New Unpaid Internship: 
  1. Click on New Job.  
  2. Enter job information.  
  3. Fields with an * indicate required information. Fill out as much information as possible to make the job posting complete.  
  4. In the field "Posting Information" choose "Internship" for "Position Type." 
  5. In the field, "Application Instructions," enter the procedure in which a potential employee may apply for this position. Click on SAVE to update this information.
  6. Under the Posting Information section, there are two fields that you will need to review.  In "Show Contact Information," if you select No, your contact information will not be available to potential employees.  In "Allow Online Referrals," if you select Yes, students can submit their resume to you via this system (i.e., you will receive email notification of students' job applications and be able to view resumes on-line. 

What to expect:
