Portland, OR - The Oregon Electric Vehicle Association (OEVA), a chapter of the Electric Auto Association (EAA), in association with Plug-In America and the Sierra Club, is pleased to announce the Portland, Oregon edition of National Plug-In Day 2012.
National Plug-In Day is the nation’s largest grassroots EV event. Over 50 cities will participate with EV celebrations: ride-and-drives, awards, city proclamations, charging infrastructure spotlights, press conferences, community and business leader presentations, informational tables, and more.
In Portland, the National Plug-In Day event will be held over two days, Saturday the 22nd and Sunday the 23rd from 11am-4pm daily. The event will be on Electric Avenue, a street dedicated exclusively to EV charging that is located in downtown Portland, on the Portland State University campus.
Please note that during the event, SW Montgomery Street will be closed between SW Broadway and SW Sixth Avenue.
