Career Planning Workshops and Classes
Workshops:
- Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Workshop Series: A three-part workshop that helps participants understand their skills, interests, values, and decision-making style and help them identify careers to explore. You must pay a $20.00 materials fee.
- Strong Interest Inventory (SII) Workshop Series: A two-part workshop that helps identify vocational interests and possible majors, careers, and job titles. You must pay a $20.00 materials fee.
- Queer Career Workshop: A workshop targeted for lesbian, gay, bi, and transgendered students who want to examine how being queer affects career decisions and their job search.
One-Credit Classes:
- Career Planning (UNST 199): Career Planning is a one-credit career decision-making class. Participants learn about the myths and realities of choosing a major and the career decisionmaking process; identify their relevant skills, interests, and values; identify potential careers to explore and then learn how to research specific job titles through print and electronic sources as well as information interviews. $20.00 materials fee for the MBTI.
