Career Fairs for Employers

PSU welcomes employers to attend any number of the career fairs we host throughout the year.  We invite employers to share information about their availab le opportunities, as well as about their organizations and industries.  Fairs are widely publicized throughout campus and are attended by both students and alumni.  To maintain the focus on post-graduate development and employment we accept registrations from employers and PSU-affiliated graduate schools only. 


 

October 18, 2016PSU offers over 200 degree programs. We invite employers of all industries to register for the All Majors fair and connect with students and alumni from a diverse array of majors.  A pre-fair breakfast workshop will be offered for registered employers (topic TBD). 

 

 

October 19, 2016 - PSU is recognized as a leading urban research university.  Employers with opportunities in STEM fields are invited to register for this fair and connect with STEM students and alumni. Start the day with a pre-fair breakfast event sponsored by the Alumni Association. (see below for details) 

 

 

        November 15, 2016 - "Let Knowledge Serve" is            PSU's motto and community engagement is part of        our mission.  This fair brings together
       organizations with social impact opportunities and
       the PSU community for engagement and learning.          A breakfast honoring community partners will be          provided to registrants.

 

 

 

 

 


 

HOW TO REGISTER
  • Pre-registration is required; instructions on how to register through CareerConnect can be found here.
  • All submitted registrations are pending ACS approval.
  • Registration confirmations (including day of event info) are emailed to all approved employer registrations.
EVENT DAY DETAILS
  • All fairs are held in the Smith Memorial Student Union (SMSU) Ballroom, 3rd Floor.  
  • Employer check-in begins at 9:30 AM and doors open to students promptly at 11 AM.  
  • Parking is provided for employers in Parking Structure 3, located a ten minute walk from SMSU.

REGISTRATION FEES
  • All Majors Fair: $425 (corporate) $275 (government) $125 (nonprofit)
  • STEM Fair: $425 (flat fee all employers)
  • 2-Day Package: $700 (for employers attending both All Majors and STEM)  
  • Social Impact Fair: $40 (nonprofits only)

Please join us for a breakfast event focused on learning and networking among STEM employers and PSU faculty and staff. Leaders from campus initiatives and academic departments that prepare STEM majors for academic and professional success will provide employers an overview of their programs.  Presenters will include the STEM Institute, BUILD EXITOMCECS, and others.
