Career Center
As of June 15, 2012, the Undergraduate Advising & Support Center (UASC) and the Career Center will both be located in USB 402 and operate as the Advising and Career Services department. This merger will allow the combined departments to provide more extensive advising and career development services. The new department will be responsible for the advising needs of students exploring or changing majors and the career development needs of all students.

Career Center Hours 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Drop in times: Monday - Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Internships

A successful internship can be a win-win arrangement for both students and employers. Students seeking to expand their range of experience outside the classroom are given opportunities to explore real-world careers while developing  practical skills in a supervised, professional environment. Employers wanting to make valuable contributions to higher education in Oregon by offering internships, are given access to enthusiastic students ready to share fresh perspectives.

The Portland State Career Center continually works to facilitiate beneficial partnerships between students and employers, and also offers resources and guidance in navigating internships and other aspects of career exploration and development.
