Membership

ARN members are appointed by the president. The principles underlying the appointment of members are set out in the "Common Policies for the President's Action Councils." As do all presidential initiatives councils, the ARN relies on the academic expertise of the Portland State faculty and takes an institutional perspective towards the issues assigned to it.
