The NASW Lifetime Achievement Award honors contributions to the field of social work that include outstanding advoacy, practice, program development, administration, and reasearch. In addition, outstanding leadership exemplifies those who receive this honor.
Dr. Koroloff is a 1972 graduate of the PSU School of Social Work. She went on to complete her PhD at the University of Oregon and has since regularly taught in the Masters and PhD programs in the School of Social Work, as well as occupied various administrative roles, and led an active research agenda in the area of policy issues and service delivery barriers for young people with serious mental health issues. Most recently Nancy was the Associate Vice Provost for Research within the Office of Research and Sponsored Projects at PSU, a role that she stepped down from in order to serve as Interim Dean of the School of Social Work for the 2011-12 Academic Year.
