Self-Service Repair

We love to help you get your hands dirty and learn by doing! Our friendly and capable staff are always available to help guide our members through everything from basic maintenance to complicated repairs. When you stop by with your bike, we'll gladly inspect it for you and assess what repairs are necessary or recommended. We will then work with you to ensure that all repairs you learn and perform are done both safely and correctly. It could take a few minutes or it could take more than one visit, but we will always do our utmost to get you back on the road and riding smoothly.

Professional Service & Repair

It's our goal to meet all the basic repair needs of PSU commuters. Sometimes you just don't have the time or the desire to do the work yourself. That's why we offer professional repair services by our trained mechanics. Depending on the work you need done, we can often turn repair jobs around in the same day or by the next business day. See below for a full list of repair services we offer. If something you're looking for is missing from this list, please be sure to ask us in person or over the phone about it. Even if it's a repair we don't offer, we are more than happy to give you a referral to one of Portland's many excellent nearby bike shops.

Basic Tune-up: $65 / $45 for members. Includes: true wheels; adjust hubs, headset & bottom bracket bearings; clean & lubricate drivetrain; adjust brakes & derailleurs

Full Overhaul: $150 / $100 Dec-Feb. Includes: all service items from the tune-up plus replace brake & derailleur cables & housing (parts included); replace or rebuild all bearings (parts included). No additional charge for installation of other parts.
