1098T For Income Tax Purposes

Your IRS form 1098T, Tuition Statement, is mailed at the end of January following the tax year. Your form also is available to view and print at www.banweb.pdx.edu

Support Sustainability at PSU - Sign Up to Receive Your 1098-T Electronically

The 1098-T form is used to report tuition and/or scholarship information annually to you and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for help in filing for the Hope Scholarship tax credit or the Lifetime Learning tax credit. Visit the IRS website, http://www.irs.gov for more information on these two tax credits. To receive your 1098-T electronically you must elect this option prior to January 15.

To receive your 1098-T electronically,

  1. Log in to the PSU Information System by entering banweb.pdx on the web address line.
  2. Enter your PSU ID number and your password.
  3. Click on “Student Services and Financial Aid”
  4. Click on “Student Records”
  5. Click on “Sign up for Electronic 1098-T”.
