Navigating China - An Oregon Lawyer's Experience
Ms. Merril Keane, Attorny with Miller Nash, LLP
Location: PSU Smith Memorial Student Union, Room 327-8
This exciting lecture, part of the Engaging Asia lecture series, was very interesting and informative. It is refreshing to hear someone so well versed in the topic of business law, comment on current affairs and issues within China. Merril Keane did an excellent job at outlining her personal and professional life and career in Asia. Her lecture ranged from topics of transition between eras and the ever evolving Chinese side of international business and law.Her intimate knowledge of China and Chinese business law was apparent in the Q&A session in which people threw out all sorts of questions regarding law, business practices, strategies, and even culture, and she was able to field them expertly.
