Admission RequirementsApplication is a dual process between the Department of Art and the University Office of Admissions. Please consult Graduate Admissions for University information and procedures.
Departmental Admission to the MFA Program Application for admission must be made by February 1 prior to the fall term in which the student intends to begin work toward the degree. Application materials MUST BE received in the Art Department by 5:00 PM February 1 (this is not a postmark date).
Applicants must have a BA, BS, or BFA degree with a concentration in any of the following: drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, photography, installation, intermedia, multimedia, performance art, or related field.
