SUMMER ART PROGRAM IN ITALY 2012
Rome, Florence, Macerata and the Adriatic Sea

June 18th to July 28th 2012

Spend 6 weeks in Italy, discovering the cultural wealth of both past and present. Engaging in a dialog between contemporary and historical art that will offer students an opportunity to better understand the complexity of art’s contemporary manifestations.

What students are exposed to:

  • Focused and sustained time in studios
  • The art and architecture while visiting Rome and Florence
  • Excursions to significant sites of the Marche region 
  • Visits to the beach (Adriatic Sea) 
  • Frequent one on one critiques with your professors
  • Immersion in Italian culture and tradition
  • Cultivating a small body of work that is a distillation of 6 weeks in Italy


What students get:

  • 12 credits - Earn 8 credits, 4 in painting, 4 in drawing at the 300, 400 or 500 levels and 4 credits of Italian language and culture.

  • Including: Tuition

 Medical insurance
- International Student Identity Card

- Expert support pre-departure and on-site
