Experimental Film Fest Portland (EFF Portland) burst onto the scene last May with a week of screenings, performances and exhibitions. Jeff Jahn reviewed Rumblings, a group show of video installations curated by the programmers of EFF Portland at Gallery Homeland that included a giant, quiet new piece by Julie Perini.

Varinthorn Christopher received an RACC (Regional Arts & Culture) Project Grant for her Good Seed Book, a collaboration with Dave Dahl. Dave is a self described ex-convict and drug addict who turned his life around when he opened the bakery Dave's Killer Bread. The book tells Dave's story, and was designed to be donated to correctional facilities throughout Oregon and the United States. It received positive feedback, is now donated to prisons and libraries, and was featured on the cover of Street Roots, a magazine written and produced by homesles people in Portland: https://streetroots.wordpress.com/tag/varinthorn-christopher/
