The Palm Springs City Council has appointed Michael Call, BA '69, MA '73, to the city's Airport Commission, effective July 1, 2013.
The Oregon Arts Commission has selected S.R.Redfield, BS '72 to exhibit his paintings at the State Capitol Building in Salem this July 9-Sept 25.This work is entitled Project 43 and the paintings will be displayed in the Govenor's ceremonial office.
Keith Eggener, BA '85, has been appointed the Marion Dean Ross Distinguished Chair in Architectural History at the University of Oregon.
Jeanne Nelsen BA '80, MST '81, retired after a 31 year career in intelligence and national security at a federal agency near Washington DC. She credits her PSU education in intercultural communication and Russian language -- as well as her involvement in PSU's international student activities—for launching a fascinating career that included worldwide travel, senior leadership positions, and post-graduate coursework at Harvard University, the Kellogg School, George Washington University, the University of Virginia, and The American University.
