Life as a work of Art -- Art Honeyman '65, '74 MA that is By Inara Verzemnieks, The Oregonian (photo: Jamie Francis) As the one-year anniversary of Arthur Honeyman's death neared, his friends decided that it was time to throw the man a party. And so this past Friday evening, dozens of people gathered at the Multicultural Center at Portland State University, where, over wine and potluck food, they told Art stories for nearly three straight hours. And still they could have kept going, because Art, who was 68 when he died last December, lived a rich and unapologetic life (he once said that he regretted nothing that he had done, only the things he hadn't done -- this remark made not long after his divorce from his second wife, 30 years his junior).
