Transfer student
Upon admission to Portland State University you will receive a Transfer Evaluation Report (T-eval). The T-eval identifies how your course credits from other colleges and universities transfer into PSU, and how those credits apply towards PSU’s graduation requirements. Review this report before you see an adviser at New Student Orientation. New Student Orientation is your first opportunity to receive academic advising at PSU. Orientations for transfer students are offered every term and will provide information geared specifically towards your needs and concerns.
After attending Orientation you should plan to see an adviser in the Undergraduate Advising and Support Center (UASC). The UASC advisers will advise you on University, general education, and degree requirements. You will need to contact the academic department of your major for major-specific requirements.
