How to register
Please refer to the Registration and Records web site for information on using PSU's web registration. You may register for courses on-line until the end of the second week of the term. During the third or fourth week of the term, you must have the instructor's permission to add a course and must use a Special Registration form available in the lobby of Neuberger Hall. In order to add courses after the end of the fourth week, you must petition the Deadline Appeals Board. If you miss any of the first class sessions, it is important to speak to the instructor to verify that he or she is comfortable with you beginning the class after the first session.
When courses are full, some departments offer the option of putting yourself on a wait list for the course. This means that you are put on a priority list to be able to add the course once the class meets. To do so, you need to attend the first day of the course and use a Special Registration form available in the lobby of Neuberger Hall to register for the course.
By Arrangement Requests "By Arrangement" procedures are used when you are enrolling in an individually arranged course. After discussion and agreement between you and a faculty member, the By-Arrangement form is completed, approved by the department, the dean, and then is submitted to the Admissions, Registration and Records office.
