Credit for military experience

Portland State will grant college credit for courses successfully completed in the military or while working for the Department of Defense. Military courses and experience must meet specific criteria in order to meet PSU requirements for conversion to academic credit. To have military records evaluated for college-level equivalency, you must be admitted to or in the process of being admitted to PSU. You should contact the Veterans Certification office (503-725-3411) for additional information on what documents are needed to evaluate military records for possible college credits.
