It is recommended that you declare your major when (or before) you have earned 90 credits. Some majors require coursework that is best started during your first year. A delay in choosing a major could add to the time and expense of completing a degree. Once you decide your major, submit a Student Information Change form to the Registration & Records windows in the lobby of Neuberger Hall.
Please note: Certain programs require a separate application to the major department. The Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science and the School of Business Administration require formal admittance before students are allowed to enroll in upper-division coursework. Architecture and Graphic Design requires a portfolio review before students can enroll in upper division coursework. Students must also formally apply to the Child and Family Studies, Community Development and Social Work programs before enrolling in certain courses in those majors.
