Career advising

PSU offers many resources to assist you with decisions regarding selecting a major or pursuing a career interest. Any student who is undecided about their major or who wishes to change their major should see an adviser in the Undergraduate Advising and Support Center (UASC). UASC advisers can discuss the various majors available at PSU, suggest courses to explore those majors, and refer you to other campus resources to help you with decisions about your major and career.

The Career Center assists PSU students with career development, career decision-making processes, and job search needs. The Career Center also teaches students how to write resumes, interview, and conduct effective job searches. Through PSU CareerConnect, the Career Center posts part-time and full-time jobs as well as internships. It also coordinates an on-campus recruiting program where employers interview seniors on campus for career positions.
