Viking Visitation is a half-day program that provides advisers, counselors, prospective freshmen and transfer students with an introduction to Portland State University through a series of informational sessions and activities. Viking Visitation Program - Students and Families We offer optional campus tours of the Portland State campus prior to each event. Those who wish to participate should arrive at Hoffmann Hall [campus map] for check-in no later than 12:45 p.m. Check-in for those not participating in the optional campus tour begins at 1:15 p.m. in Hoffmann Hall [campus map]. The program officially begins at 1:45 p.m. and lasts approximately four hours. Partner with Portland State University - Advisers and Counselors **Counselors/advisers who are bringing students to the Viking Visitation Event should arrive at 11 a.m. instead of the regular Event time line for students and families.** Partner with PSU includes a few additional informational sessions designed for all advisers and counselors who work with prospective college students to learn more about Portland State's education, community, etc. Partner with PSU will merge with the regular Viking Visitation event schedule and finish around 5:15 p.m. Lunch will be provided for you and your students! Parking and TransportationWhen you register to attend Viking Visitation, detailed parking information will be e-mailed to you as with additional confirmation materials. Parking passes are also available on event days in Parking Structures 3 [campus map].
