Student for a Day
Student for a Day is an interactive, hands-on program designed for high school juniors and seniors to get a close look at the daily life of a current Portland State University student. Each high school student is paired with a PSU student to spend an average day in college together. From sitting in on a class, to an admissions presentation, the high school student discovers more about higher education and what college life is like.
Student for a Day is a unique opportunity for high school students to get excited about higher education. This in-depth look at college provides insight to get on track for the coming year, and illuminates the college experience.
The Fall 2008 dates for the program will be avalible starting late summer.
To participate, high school juniors and seniors should fill out the PSU Student for a Day contract and submit it to the Campus Visits Office. We also want to hear about how the day went, so ask that students send in an evaluation form after their day on campus.
