Submit your completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (F.A.F.S.A.) to the federal processor as soon after January 1 as possible to be given priority in funding. The federal code for Portland State University on the F.A.F.S.A.is 003216.
Ask your guidance counselor about Advanced Placement (A.P.) examination dates and registration.

Watch for the results of your F.A.F.S.A., called the Student Aid Report (S.A.R.). If you need to make corrections, do so right away to avoid a delay in the processing of your financial aid.
