Group Visits (party size of six or more)

Group visits are designed exclusively for school, team, or community groups, these tours offer a great introduction to Portland State University. Reservations are required, so book ahead! Please allow at least three weeks notice for all group visits.

Important Information for Elementary and Middle School Tours:

• Elementary School: Please contact us directly at 503-725-5555 to make arrangements for a Self-guided tour packet.
  
• Middle School: Come check out our Viking 101 program for all Middle school students grades 6-8.

Campus Tour

This one-hour walking tour is led by a current student and provides an overview of the undergraduate experience, focusing on academic programs, and much more.

Admission Information Session

The Admissions Information Session is a half-an-hour information session conducted by a representative from the Office of Undergraduate Admission. The representative will discuss highlights about the University including our academics, general education program, campus involvement, and the application and admissions process for prospective freshmen and transfer students.

Cancellation Policy

Please contact the Campus Visits office at least 24 hours in advance if you are not able to attend your scheduled group visit. Due to the number of requests we receive each term, and the amount of preparation involved, it causes hardship for other guests when we do not receive notice of cancellation. Make a quick call to 503-725-5555, or e-mail psutours@pdx.edu. After a no-show, we may not be able to fulfill subsequent requests.

All Visits

All visits and tours begin in Room 131, Neuberger Hall, located on the corner of SW Broadway and SW Hall in downtown Portland [maps and directions]. Room 131 is in the short hallway on the south side of the main lobby. Plan to arrive about 15 minutes early to allow time for check-in.

Weekend Visits

We do not offer weekend visits at this time. However, if the only day that you are available is on a weekend, we can provide an informational packet with self-guided tour for you. (If you specify a weekend date in your Campus Visit request, we will automatically create this packet for you.)

The only visitation visit PSU offers on the weekend is PSU Freshman Preview Day offered during the fall quarter.

Individual/Group campus tours are not offered on these dates:

• No weekend tours are offered.

Confirmation

We make every effort to respond to visit requests within 1-2 business days. If you do not receive a campus visit confirmation via e-mail within that time, we recommend you first check your "junk mail" or "spam mail" folder for any correspondence from our office. If the email is not found, then we recommend you contact our office so we can resend a new confirmation e-mail.
