Scheduling a Group Visit (10 or more participants)
Group visits are designed exclusively for high school aged students, teams, or community groups. Reservations are required. Our office provides three different options for group visits:
- General Campus Visits (first-come-first-serve)
- Self-Guided Tours
- Sustainability Tours (by special request)

Our Group Campus Visits include:
- Campus Tour (1 hour): Current PSU students lead these walking tours while sharing their personal experiences on campus.
- Admissions Information Session (30 minutes): Topics covered by a representative of the Office of Admissions include academics, honors program, housing, and admissions process.
Guided group tours are only offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 am and 1:30 pm. Due to amount of requests we receive, only one school can be accommodated per date. Dates are reserved on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please submit your group visit request at least three weeks in advance of your preferred date and time.

Groups interested in exploring PSU on their own or are unable to secure a date but still intend on visiting campus are encouraged to do a self-guided tour. Since these tours are done on your own, groups can come on any date at any time. Please note: certain buildings are limited access (especially on the weekends) and cannot be viewed as part of a self-guided visit.

At Portland State, we strive to have everything we build teach us, and everything we learn help us create a better world. Our 50-acre urban campus is a vibrant, living laboratory for practicing sustainability, extending outside the classroom into offices, eateries, plazas, and gardens. Perfect for groups looking to explore the many innovative and sustainable features of our campus.
Our Sustainability Campus Tour is 60-90 minutes in length and groups can choose to focus their tour on gardens, infrastructure, or a mix of both. For a group of 20, please submit your group visit request at least two weeks in advance of your preferred date and time. If your group exceeds 20 people, we require a minimum advance notice of one month. Tour dates and times are based on the availability of our Sustainability Ambassadors.
To submit a request, please fill out our Sustainability Request Form. Please note that this form is only used as an inquiry and is not a guarantee or confirmation of your visit.
Call 503-725-5555, or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org . We may not be able to fulfill subsequent requests from your group, after a no-show or a cancellation made one week or less prior to the scheduled visit.
We make every effort to respond to visit requests within 1-2 business days. If you do not receive a campus visit confirmation via e-mail within that time, we recommend you first check your "junk mail" or "spam mail" folder for any correspondence from our office. If the email is not found, then we recommend you contact our office so we can resend a new confirmation e-mail.
