Clatsop Community College Co-Admission
Participants in the Clatsop Community College / Portland State University co-admission program have access to a wide range of services. We realize the distance between Astoria and Portland can be problematic, so here are some options to explore.

Taking Courses
If you plan to move to Portland, or are able to commute, your options are wide open! However, if moving or commuting is not convenient, you can take advantage of online and partially online course offerings, as well as courses that may be offered a location closer to you.
Online Options:
Currently two bachelor’s degrees are offered fully online: Criminology & Criminal Justice, and Liberal Studies. A third online major in Social Science is near completion. As many as 200 distance education courses are offered fully online via WebCT. For more information, go to PSU Online and choose from the menu under “Prospective Students”
Partially Online Courses:
PSU offers about 250 courses that combine in-person and online participation. Many
programs require students to come to campus every other week, or just once per
term, with most of the course taught online. To review course offerings by term,
go to the Schedule of Classes and select “Partially
On-Line Courses” from the drop-down menu.
Other Locations:
PSU’s Extended Campus offers courses at Portland Community College’s Rock Creek Campus in Beaverton,
including
undergraduate degree requirements for a major in Liberal Studies or Social
Science.
PSU courses also are offered elsewhere in the Portland metropolitan area,
including PCC’s Cascade Campus in North Portland and at the Mt. Hood Community
College campus in Gresham.
